Don’t you just love it when the natural beauty of a wedding venue speaks for itself? A view of the cliffs, a classic red barn or, in this matter, a large Italian staircase?
Often, less is more when it comes to beautiful event spaces like this, and we salute the great execution of the enchanted Italian garden by this Italian couple. With the light streaming down the fairy-tale staircase and the scattered greenery, the whole forest scene photographed by Serena Genovese Photography is purely magical.
Equally beautiful was their subsequent reception: an al fresco dinner at a long farmhouse table (my personal favorite setup for an devoted affair) and dancing under the sparkling lights of the cafe and the moonlight night sky.
The Dress And The Clothes
Ilaria wanted a fluid and essential wedding dress with clean lines, but absolutely not Classic. Andrea dreamed of a suit with dark natural tones, characterized by rough fabrics. We chose clothes that could fully represent us on our big day and we were very satisfied with the final result!
Location & Planning
The most important aspect for us was to be able to dedicate our love in the midst of the majesty of nature. A combination of natural tones, simple but spontaneous wildflowers, woods, raw fabrics and the soft light of candles. We chose an devoted ceremony in a century-old park in the heart of the Euganean Hills: Frassanelle, an old residence of the Counts Papafava dei Carraresi.
Favorite moments
The ceremony, of course! Celebrated at the foot of a beautiful trachyte staircase.
But also all the other moments that we spent with the most important people in our lives, such as the candlelight dinner with the Moon in the background or the dances during the concert after dinner. Moments that will remain forever in our hearts.
Honeymoon
We divided our honeymoon into two parts: the Maldives and Chile.
